Issues with BCO/BCC description values in Dropdown Lists

I have created a custom BO, that requires new Code data types.

So I created a BCO:

And a BCC:

Then I deployed the Business Configuration.

However, in any Dropdown List field for these items, I am not getting the description:

WHY?
